Robin Durham, Vice President
Robin grew up in Corbin, Kentucky, where she attended Corbin High School and then went on to Eastern Kentucky University in 1989 where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. She married her high school sweetheart Joey Durham and they had two beautiful daughters, Emma and Sarah. Joey passed away in the year 2000 and Robin later relocated to Shelbyville, Kentucky. Working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the last seven years she has worked her way up to an Administrative Specialist III.
Robin was a caregiver to Emma for over two years starting in 2010 when Emma was diagnosed with cancer. Robin was amazed by Emma’s never-give-up, positive and loving attitude. The community’s emotional and financial support was overwhelming during her illness and has inspired Robin to pay it forward. By working through the Emma Durham Foundation, Robin hopes to keep her daughter’s memory alive by showing the same generous, giving and loving spirit that Emma displayed. She hopes this will help as many student athletes as possible in the Shelby County area attend college.
When Robin is not working, she likes attending Sarah’s choral and school events, fundraising for the Emma Durham Foundation, enjoys cookouts with family and friends, playing golf and relaxing at the lake when possible.
